Movie Monday!

   Today's Movie Monday is going to be something that may seem odd for the Christmas time of the year, however next Monday I will gladly jump on the bandwagon and a Christmas Movie review! This week I am going to talk about another one of my favorite Winona Ryder movies. The 1999 Academy Award winning movie Girl Interrupted. It stars Winona Ryder, Angelina Jolie, Whoopi Goldberg, and a full cast of other characters. It's one of my favorite movies that I would consider a "coming of age" tale, Winona Ryder's character Susana has graduated from college in the 1960's, but after a scare her parents send her to a mental institution for a "little rest." Its a great movie that you easily feel could be you or someone you know.

Movie Monday!

 Today's movie Monday is the teen flick, Heather's.The 1988 film stars Winona  Ryder, Christian Slater, Shannen Dohoerty along with a full cast of characters. Winnona Ryder plays the intelligent friend of the in crowd, who is beginning to grow tired of her popular life. When she meets 'JD' the mysterious new kid, she falls into a dangerous game. Its a great flick, an original mix of Mean Girls meets Pretty Little Liars that will not disappoint! And don't forget the incredibly awesome, 80's slang!
